Tuesday afternoon, Cynthia, Brad and Ella dropped by to visit. They came to see LBF and swim for awhile. Ella immensely enjoyed the "Ella-sized" pool, which she declared was MUCH warmer than the pool she had been swimming in at The Beach Club.

Wednesday morning, Mom and I took a trip over to Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels practice. It was AMAZING to see them. The fact that they are flying as close as 18 inches in some cases is a true testament to their skill level. They fly as fast as 750 to 780 miles per hour and make turns at a rate of 7 Gs. As I understand it, the Blue Angels are limited to a two year term. This year, their squadron leader has 3700 hours of flight time with 950 "at sea" (my terminology) landings. The precision with which they execute their maneuvers is astounding. At times, I got chills just watching them.

I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer and that your weather is as wonderful as it is here in Orange Beach! I'd love to hear from all of you!
